Linking obligations Sample Clauses
The 'Linking obligations' clause establishes that certain duties or responsibilities within a contract are interconnected, meaning the fulfillment of one obligation is dependent on the performance of another. In practice, this might mean that a party is only required to deliver goods after receiving payment, or that a service must be provided once a specific milestone is achieved. By explicitly connecting these obligations, the clause ensures that parties are not required to act unless the corresponding condition is met, thereby reducing the risk of non-performance and promoting fairness in the execution of the contract.
