LINK & ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT. Operational maintenance and technical support of the Wide Area backbone network, and associated devices, from the Local Authority owned school perimeter network device including the connection back to Trafford Town Hall (Provided by Virgin Media, BT or private connection). Replacement of the network hardware of this backbone, in the case of failure, is supported under this agreement. Anything beyond the school/academy perimeter device on their network is not supported under this Service Level Agreement (SLA) although in certain circumstances assistance may be provided to assist a school with the investigation of internal issues which are affecting the school’s internet connectivity. The Service Provider reserves the right to remove access to the network in the case of a serious security breach or virus outbreak. In such an event, advice will be given to the school/academy affected to enable them to resolve the issue and return to normal network access.
