Common use of Lineman Clause in Contracts

Lineman. An employee who is a journeyman and is engaged in performing all classes of electrical power transmission and distribution system construction, maintenance and operation work. The employee may be required to drive a truck and operate any associated equipment, and must possess the appropriate State of California driver’s license. The employee’s background of apprenticeship and experience shall be such as to qualify the employee to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. The employee shall be capable of performing the duties safely.
