Common use of Licensee Authority Clause in Contracts

Licensee Authority. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Programmer recognizes that Licensee has certain obligations to broadcast programming to meet the needs and interests of the community of license for the Stations. On a regular weekly basis the Licensee shall air specific programming on issues of importance to the local community. Nothing in this Agreement shall abrogate the unrestricted authority of the Licensee to discharge its obligations to the public and to comply with the law, rules and policies of the FCC with respect to meeting the ascertained needs and interests of the public.

The general partner of the Licensee shall produce public affairs programming for the Stations. On a regular weekly basis Station and from time to time the Licensee shall air specific other programming on issues of importance to the local community. Nothing in this Agreement shall abrogate the unrestricted authority of the Licensee to discharge its obligations to the public and to comply with the law, and rules and policies of the FCC with respect to meeting the ascertained needs and interests of the publicFCC.

On a regular weekly basis From time to time the Licensee shall air specific programming on issues of importance to the local communitycommunity and educational and informational programming for children. Nothing in this Agreement shall abrogate the unrestricted authority of the Licensee to discharge its obligations to the public and to comply with the law, Act and the rules and policies of the FCC with respect to meeting the ascertained needs and interests of the publicFCC.
