Common use of Level Four - Hearing Officer Clause in Contracts

Level Four - Hearing Officer. Only those grievances that contest the imposition of disciplinary action may be appealed to a Hearing Officer who shall make a recommended decision to the Board. This provision does not apply to disciplinary action consisting of a suspension of more than ten (10) days or dismissal.
