TEACHING HOURS A. The teacher’s normal teaching hours in the secondary and elementary schools shall be as follows:
Summer Hours a) Every year, for a period of ten (10) weeks, from mid-June to mid-August (exact dates to be posted by the Human Resources Department) the length of the regular work week is reduced by three (3) hours without reduction in remuneration.
WORKING DUES 6.1 The hourly working dues shall be calculated at two percent (2%) of the Principal Operator hourly wage rate and shall be deducted from each employee covered by this Agreement for each hour for which wages are payable. Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.
Witness Duty An employee required to serve on jury duty, or as a witness in a case in which the Crown is a party, or as a witness at an inquest, or as a witness in a case arising out of her employment, or as a witness at a hearing of the College of Nurses of Ontario, shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, provided that the employee:
Consulting Teachers a. A Consulting Teacher is a teacher who provides assistance to a Participating Teacher pursuant to the Peer Assistance and Review Program. The following shall constitute minimum qualifications for the Consulting Teacher:
Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.
