LEAVES GENERAL. 18.01 An employee shall be paid regular salary when required to be absent from work by reason of a summons to serve as a juror, or a subpoena as a witness in any proceeding to which they are not a party, or one of the persons charged. Fees received shall be turned over to the Board, exclusive of travelling allowances and living expenses.
LEAVES GENERAL. 11.13.1 When leave is taken with pay, the District will continue to make contributions to current medical benefits. Teachers on unpaid leaves may be entitled to maintain, at the approval of the insurance carrier, medical coverage at the teacher’s expense (unless otherwise provided in this Agreement).

C.1.1 An employee may be granted a leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority if his written application is approved by the appropriate official of the Board and is sent to the Board’s business office at least fifteen (15) days prior to the requested leave. Such request should show good and sufficient reason and not merely personal desire. The granting or denial of any leave of absence will be confirmed in writing.

A Teacher granted leave under C.3.0., C.4.0. or C.6.0. shall be entitled to full credit for Teaching Experience for salary and seniority purposes for the duration of the leave and, upon return, shall be reinstated in a position which is at least equivalent to that held at the commencement of the leave.
LEAVES GENERAL. 33.01 Teachers on any approved leave, or part-time teachers who are not currently teaching, who are declared transferable through the Seniority, Placement, Transfers and Redundancy provisions, shall be notified by electronic mail and, if necessary, mail addressed to the last known address.
LEAVES GENERAL. 19:01 The Board shall grant a paid leave of absence with no deduction from the Sick Leave Credit Account for the following reasons:
LEAVES GENERAL. L59.1 An Adult Day School Continuing Education Teacher may have up to one day with deduction from sick leave when adoption leave is not taken and circumstances require the Adult Day School Continuing Education Teacher to be present during the adoption procedure.
