LEAVE WITH OR WITHOUT PAY FOR ASSOCIATION BUSINESS Clause Samples

The "Leave With or Without Pay For Association Business" clause allows employees to take time off from work, either paid or unpaid, to participate in activities related to their union or professional association. Typically, this clause outlines the process for requesting such leave, any limits on the amount of leave, and whether the employer or the association is responsible for covering the employee's wages during the absence. Its core function is to support employee involvement in association matters without penalizing them for time away from their regular duties, thereby facilitating effective labor relations and representation.
