Leave for the Purposes. of Adopting the Spouse’s Child An employee who adopts his or her spouse’s child is entitled to a maximum of five (5) working days of leave, of which only the first two (2) shall be paid. The leave may be discontinuous but it may not be taken more than fifteen (15) days after the adoption papers were filed.
