Leave for Birth. or Adoption of a Child On the birth or adoption of a child, the parent who has not applied for parental leave benefits or is not in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits, and who has been employed for more that one year, shall he granted special leave with pay up to a maximum of five (5) working days.
