LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES. .01 Firefighters who are promoted within suppression will complete a twelve (12) month learning period to develop skills in the new role. If at any time during the twelve (12) months the City determines that the promoted firefighter is not meeting the expectations of the new role, the firefighter will revert back to a previously held position and rank.
