Learners Permit. Students need to have a valid Utah learners permit prior to scheduling the driving portion and maintain a valid active learners permit while completing the driving school program. Prior to driving students should have at least 15 hours of personal driving practice and be able to safely operate a vehicle and demonstrate basic driving skills. (If you do not meet the driving practice requirements and do not have anyone to practice with, see our private drives option on our website). Students must bring their learners permit to every driving session or the session will be canceled and a fee of $50 will apply.
