Leakage Testing. 1. The Contractor shall conduct tests to determine the water-tightness of gravity sewers when completed. The Utility Owner shall observe the tests with the Contractor furnishing all required labor, equipment, and materials. 2. Sewers shall be tested in sections with each section extending between two adjacent manholes or from the end of the sewer to the nearest manhole. The Contractor shall utilize an infiltration test, an exfiltration test, or a low pressure air test at the direction of the Utility Owner and in accordance with The Facility Owner’s Standard Specifications.
