Layoff – Re-Employment List. The names of persons laid off or demoted in accordance with these rules shall be placed on a re-employment list. Lists from different departments or at different times for the same classification of position shall be combined into a single list. Such list shall be used by every appointing authority when a vacancy arises in the same or lower classification of position before certification is made from an eligibility list.
