Launch Operations Clause Samples
The Launch Operations clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to the preparation, scheduling, and execution of a launch event, such as the deployment of a satellite or spacecraft. It typically outlines the roles of each party during the launch phase, specifies timelines, and may address coordination with launch service providers or regulatory authorities. By clearly delineating these operational steps and obligations, the clause ensures that all parties are aligned on expectations and mitigates the risk of miscommunication or delays during this critical phase.
Launch Operations. The Launch Services Contractor shall conduct the launch operations up to spacecraft separation on orbit. The proposal should include a description of all necessary range support and tracking services. A prediction of the spacecraft orbit and attitude data at injection is to be provided within 30 minutes of separation, based upon launch vehicle telemetry and downrange tracking data.
Launch Operations. Launch and flight of orbital and suborbital rockets, missiles, projectiles, targets, or tethered or free-floating balloons from the WFF Launch Range on Wallops Island or from the Main Base airfield. Jettison of flight hardware (e.g., spent rocket motor, scientific payload, nosecone, etc.) into the Atlantic Ocean and subsequent recovery (if warranted).
Launch Operations. 6.1.1. Launch and flight of tethered or free-floating balloons or dirigibles from the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Field airfield.
