LATEBIDS Sample Clauses
The LATEBIDS clause defines the rules and consequences for submitting bids after the specified deadline in a procurement or tender process. Typically, this clause states that any bids received after the cutoff time will not be considered, regardless of the reason for the delay, and may outline the method for determining the official time of receipt. Its core practical function is to ensure fairness and transparency by enforcing strict adherence to deadlines, thereby preventing disputes and maintaining an orderly bidding process.
