Common use of Landlord’s Right to Cure Defaults Clause in Contracts

Landlord’s Right to Cure Defaults. Landlord may, but shall not be obligated to, cure, at any time, following ten (10) days' prior notice to Tenant, except in cases of emergency when no notice shall be required, any default by Tenant under this Lease; and whenever Landlord so elects, all costs and expenses incurred by Landlord, including reasonable attorneys' fees, in curing a default shall be paid by Tenant to Landlord as Additional Rent within twenty (20) days after Tenant's receipt of a written demand therefor, together with interest thereon at the rate provided in Section 4.3 from the date of payment by Landlord to the date of payment by Tenant.
