Laboratory Testing. Laboratory tests will be assigned corresponding to the types of soils encountered to classify the soil's physical and index properties, moisture contents, unconfined compressive strength, undrained unconsolidated compressive strength, Atterberg limits, percent finer than No. 200 sieve, sieve analysis, dry density, crumb test double hydrometer test, specific gravity test, and consolidated undrained triaxial test. All tests will be performed in accordance with the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) Procedures. Estimated test types and quantities are presented on the attached sheet.
