Key Facilitators ▪ DTM Knowledge Clause Samples

Key Facilitators ▪ DTM Knowledge. Application Academic part of the DTM has immensely helped for this project. Especially when developing policy, I had to go through many materials which I learnt during the DTM. Also, presenting in front of the experts from different segments is not an easy task – so, my confident level and presentation skills were entirely enhanced through the weekly group and individual presentations. Moreover, written assignments at the DTM have given confident to develop policies or proposal for several project these days. My Strength - I am always grateful to my DTM mates (from other batches too) and KSPO staff who have supported to this project. Many of them have changed their Facebook profile frame upon my request without any hesitation – I am super happy that the awareness campaign has reached not only in Sri Lanka but also around the globe – simply saying, it could be possible only through my DTM family. ▪ Other facilitating factors Women’s Committee’s chairperson supported to make this happened and her encouragement given to me is really admirable. Also, constructive comments from the experts made this policy in a very professional way. Olympic Solidarity funded USD 19,000 upon our request as all documents submitted were in time. Also, the prime media in Sri Lanka have supported to create awareness around Sri Lanka. Now, National Federations have taken steps to adapt to this policy (Some of them have already done it). From the initial discussion meeting, Compliance Committee was formed among the participants. The selected experts agreed to volunteer for this project for the next two years as the members of the Compliance Committee. IOC also advised to incorporate some points in the Policy. Executive members of NOC Sri Lanka also supported to this project. Now, a discussion is going on with the Ministry of Education to include this in school curriculum.
