Common use of Key Deposit Clause in Contracts

Key Deposit. A key deposit for an amount equal to that recorded in paragraph 1 shall be paid by the Rentee to the Rentor upon signature of this Agreement and retained by the Rentor until such time as all keys to the Vehicle are returned to the Rentor. No interest shall accrue to the security deposit during the period of the Agreement.
