Kenneling Sample Clauses

Kenneling. The cost of kenneling services necessary to accommodate a handler’s absence associated with paid time off of five (5) consecutive days or more will be borne by the Village of Cottage Grove Police Department. Kenneling services necessitated by any time off less than five (5) consecutive days shall be at the expense of the handler, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. The Chief of Police reserves the right to select a vendor who will provide kenneling services to its canine. If kenneled with consent of the Chief of Police and paid for by the Village of Cottage Grove Police Department, the handler will not receive any portion of care compensation described in the Care section attributed to that period of time.
