Keep Secrets Clause Samples
The "Keep Secrets" clause, also known as a confidentiality clause, obligates parties to protect and not disclose certain sensitive or proprietary information shared during the course of their relationship. Typically, this clause outlines what information is considered confidential, how it should be handled, and any exceptions, such as disclosures required by law or information already in the public domain. Its core practical function is to safeguard business interests and intellectual property by preventing unauthorized sharing or misuse of confidential information.
Keep Secrets. Licensed Products shall be manufactured in a manner that is clearly designed to effectively frustrate attempts to discover or reveal Device Keys, the Highly Confidential cryptographic algorithms used in DTCP, and any other Highly Confidential Information.
Keep Secrets. Host Devices shall be designed and manufactured in a manner to effectively frustrate attempts to discover or reveal (a) the unique number, of a specified bit length, assigned to each Host Device, or the numbers used in the process for encryption or decryption of Controlled Content (collectively, “Keys”) and (b) the methods and cryptographic algorithms used to generate such Keys.
