K9 Assignment. (1) The Department will pay members assigned to the K9 Squad at the appropriate rate except for days during which the dog is kenneled. The appropriate rate will be the current rate for State Trooper at Step 1 at time and one-half for one (1) hour per day for servicing their K9.
