Juries. 12.8.1 If it proves to be necessary, the provisions of the Criminal Code and the Canada Evidence Act shall be amended so that they may be better adapted to the circumstances, usages, customs and way of life of the Naskapis and to the difficulties of the judicial district. Particularly for the case where a Naskapi is the accused, amendments shall be adopted in order to permit Naskapis to qualify as jurors notwithstanding that these Naskapis might not qualify as jurors in virtue of existing applicable laws or regulations and even if these Naskapis speak neither French nor English.
Juries a. All students are required to perform a jury, but it is optional their first term of credit lessons
b. Instructors are invited but not required to attend juries.
Juries. Music majors are required to play a seven-minute jury each semester. (Students performing full or half recitals may be excused at the instructor's discretion.) Students must provide copies of their music for each jury member. The instructor will complete the repertoire sheet. A jury sign-up sheet will be posted near the end of each semester. Failure to perform at a jury will result in a grade of "F" from the jury unless the student is seriously ill or there is a death in the immediate family. In these situations, the student will receive an incomplete. The student is expected to contact the instructor as soon as possible to arrange the incomplete, which must be removed during the first four weeks of the following semester.
Juries. Juries will be administered by The Harmony Project twice a year and will be graded according to the program’s curriculum guidelines..
Juries. Section 1: Precollege Division faculty members shall serve as judges, as assigned by the School, on jury panels each Spring semester. Grades and comment sheets for each student shall be given to the students’ studio teachers for review by the last Saturday of the Spring semester, unless the parent makes a written request to the contrary.
