Common use of July 2016 Clause in Contracts

July 2016. Delete Clause 13 and insert the words: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with French law. The parties agree that the Paris Tribunal de Commerce shall have jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with this Agreement. To the extent permitted by applicable laws and treaties, each party reserves the right to waive the benefit of this provision and to take proceedings in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
