Common use of Joint Statement Clause in Contracts

Joint Statement. In order to assure the participation of faculty members in policy development, the maintenance of high morale, and the improvement of the collegiate program, the Board of the Los ▇▇▇▇ Community College District, California, and the Los ▇▇▇▇ College Federation of Teachers, Local 2279, American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO, mutually enter into this contract in good faith by and between the Board and LRCFT on this 1st day of June, 2005, in order that public education shall best be served and in compliance with the statutory provisions of Title I, Government Code, Division 4, Chapter 10.7, Sections 3540 through 3549.3.
