Joint Appointment. 5.1.6.1 Faculty may have appointments in two or more departments. One of the departments will be designated the primary department. The primary department will be responsible for conducting the faculty member’s annual evaluation and recommending the faculty member for promotion, tenure, or termination. The other department(s) shall provide written contribution(s) to the faculty member’s annual evaluation and to recommendations for tenure, promotion, or termination.
