Itinerant Teachers. 1. For the purpose of this agreement an Itinerant Teacher shall be defined as a teacher who travels between classes, schools, or sites to deliver educational programs. a. Itinerant Teaching Positions shall be posted and the assignment designated before filling. 2. An Itinerant Teacher’s assignment shall be based on providing an educationally sound program that is consistent with their training and qualifications. 3. An Itinerant Teacher shall be assigned classes with a minimum length of 30 minutes, but individual teachers may request shorter periods of time for educationally sound reasons.
