Isolation resistance. This paragraph shall not apply to electrical circuits that are galvanically connected to each other, where the DC part of these circuits is connected to the electrical chassis and the specific voltage condition is fulfilled.

Isolation resistance. 5.1.3.1. Electric power train consisting of separate Direct Current- or Alternating Current-buses If AC high voltage buses and DC high voltage buses are galvanically isolated from each other, isolation resistance between the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis shall have a minimum value of 100 Ω/volt of the working voltage for DC buses, and a minimum value of 500 Ω/volt of the working voltage for AC buses. The measurement shall be conducted according to Annex 4A "Isolation resistance measurement method for vehicle based tests".
Isolation resistance. This paragraph shall not apply to chassis connected electrical circuits where the maximum voltage between any live part and the electrical chassis or any exposed conductive part does not exceed 30 V AC (rms) or 60 V DC.
Isolation resistance. If the electrical circuit divided by the disconnect function includes AC circuit, this part of the high voltage bus shall be considered as an AC high voltage bus. If the electrical circuit divided by the disconnect function doesn't include AC circuit, this part of the high voltage bus shall be considered as a DC high voltage bus. For AC high voltage buses, isolation resistance between the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis shall have minimum value of 500 ohms/volt of working voltage. If the protection degree IPXXB is satisfied for AC portion of the high voltage buses after crash, isolation resistance between the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis shall have minimum value of 100 ohms/volt of working voltage. For DC high voltage buses, isolation resistance between any high voltage bus and the electrical chassis shall have minimum value of 100 ohms/volt of working voltage.
Isolation resistance. The isolation resistance between the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis may be demonstrated either by measurement or by a combination of measurement and calculation. The following instructions should be used if the isolation resistance is demonstrated by measurement. Measure and record the voltage (Vb) between the negative and the positive side of the high voltage bus (see figure 1); Measure and record the voltage (V1) between the negative side of the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis (see figure 1); Measure and record the voltage (V2) between the positive side of the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis (see figure 1); If V1 is greater than or equal to V2, insert a standard known resistance (Ro) between the negative side of the high voltage bus and the electrical chassis. With Ro installed, measure the voltage (V1’) between the negative side of the high voltage bus and the vehicle electrical chassis (see figure 3). Calculate the isolation resistance (Ri) according to the formula shown below. Ri = Ro*(Vb/V1’ – Vb/V1) or Ri = Ro*Vb*(1/V1’ – 1/V1) Divide the result Ri, which is the electrical isolation resistance value in ohm (Ω), by the working voltage of the high voltage bus in volt (V). Ri (Ω / V) = Ri (Ω) / Working voltage (V) Figure 4 Measurement of V2' Note 1: The standard known resistance Ro (in Ω) should be the value of the minimum required isolation resistance (Ω/V) multiplied by the working voltage (V) of the vehicle plus/minus 20 per cent. Ro is not required to be precisely this value since the equations are valid for any Ro; however, a Ro value in this range should provide a good resolution for the voltage measurements.

Disposal costs from this latter location shall be borne by Department.   • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Random Drug Testing All employees covered by this Agreement shall be subject to random drug testing in accordance with Appendix D.

  • Intrusion Detection All systems involved in accessing, holding, transporting, and protecting PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY that are accessible via the Internet must be protected by a comprehensive intrusion detection and prevention solution.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Subprocessing 1. The data importer shall not subcontract any of its processing operations performed on behalf of the data exporter under the Clauses without the prior written consent of the data exporter. Where the data importer subcontracts its obligations under the Clauses, with the consent of the data exporter, it shall do so only by way of a written agreement with the subprocessor which imposes the same obligations on the subprocessor as are imposed on the data importer under the Clauses. Where the subprocessor fails to fulfil its data protection obligations under such written agreement the data importer shall remain fully liable to the data exporter for the performance of the subprocessor's obligations under such agreement.

  • Blasting Blasting shall be permitted only for road construction purposes unless advance permission is obtained from Forest Service. Whenever the Industrial Fire Precaution Level is II or greater, a fire security person equipped with a long handled round point No. 0 or larger shovel and a 5 gallon backpack pump can filled with water, will stay at location of blast for 1 hour after blasting is done. Blasting may be suspended by Forest Service, in areas of high rate of spread and resistance to control. Fuses shall not be used for blasting. Explosive cords shall not be used without permission of Forest Service, which may specify conditions under which such explosives may be used and precautions to be taken.
