Isolating Cocks. For isolation of small diameter piping for gauges and other instrumentation equipment, isolation cocks (gauge cocks) shall be installed. The cocks shall be made of 316 stainless steel, 1/4 turn ball or plug valve with the operating handle arranged to indicate the open and closed positions. Each isolation cock shall have a spring bottom, and female by female ends.
