Common use of Invoice error Clause in Contracts

Invoice error. (a) If the Service Provider becomes aware of a potential invoicing error relevant to an invoice after sending it to the Shipper, the Service Provider will investigate the relevant information and, if necessary, adjust the invoice. (b) If the Shipper has paid the original invoice, the Service Provider will: (i) provide an adjustment for the value of the incorrect invoice and reissue the invoice; or (ii) provide an adjustment for the value of the incorrect invoice by adjusting the amounts payable by the Shipper in the next invoice.
