Common use of INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE, POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS Clause in Contracts

INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE, POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS. Great-West Funds will provide the Sub-Adviser with the statement of investment objective, policies and restrictions applicable to the Fund Account as contained in the Fund’s Prospectus and Statement of Additional Information, all amendments or supplements to the Prospectus and Statement of Additional Information, and any instructions adopted by the Board of Directors supplemental thereto. Great-West Funds and the Adviser agree, on an ongoing basis, to notify the Sub-Adviser in advance in writing of each change in the fundamental and non-fundamental investment policies of the Fund and will provide the Sub-Adviser with such further information concerning the investment objective, policies, restrictions and such other information applicable thereto as the Sub-Adviser may from time to time reasonably request for performance of its obligations under this Agreement. Great-West Funds retains the right, on prior written notice to the Sub-Adviser or the Adviser, to modify any such objective, policies or restrictions in accordance with applicable laws, at any time.

The investment objectives policies and restriction described in this Section 5 of the Agreement shall not be deemed to be breached as a result of the occurrence of any of the following events:
