Interrupted Evaluations. In the event that the evaluation process of a permanent bargaining unit member is interrupted due to illness, accident, or injury for more than 50% of the available teaching days, the evaluation shall be continued into the next school year using current goals and objectives and beginning on the first day of the next school year.
11.5.4.1. The goals and objectives document may be amended in writing to adjust to specific changes in teaching assignment.
11.5.4.2. The summative evaluation in the succeeding year shall include the data, observations and information generated throughout the two year period.
11.5.4.3. The interrupted evaluation process shall not be extended into the third year. If a permanent bargaining unit member’s performance is determined to be unsatisfactory or needs improvement on the overall assessment as rated on the Summative Evaluation, the bargaining unit member shall be evaluated during the successive year provided:
11.6.1. The evaluator informs the unit member, in writing, of the identifiable standards and/or related reason(s) for the evaluation. Such notice shall be included on the summative evaluation, and shall include the information required by other provisions of the Article.
11.6.1.1. Any such evaluation shall be conducted according to the provisions set forth in this Article.
