Common use of Interim Suspension Clause in Contracts

Interim Suspension. An interim suspension may be considered for a Student Respondent, where there is reasonable cause to believe that interim suspension of that Student is necessary to protect the personal safety of persons within the campus community or campus property, and to ensure the maintenance of order during an investigation. Such interim suspensions will be implemented in accordance with the procedures under Executive Order 1098 Student Conduct Procedures and will only remain in effect during the Complaint process until determined to be no longer necessary. In determining whether an interim suspension is necessary, the Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator will coordinate with the student conduct administrator to ensure appropriate on-going assessment and implementation occurs.
