Common use of Interim Suspension Clause in Contracts

Interim Suspension. (a) Where the Licensee believes that an event listed in Clause 13.1 has occurred, then, without prejudice to its rights under this Agreement or arising as a consequence thereof, the Licensee may give the Intermediary a notice stating that the Intermediary is not entitled to provide any of the Authorised Services or do any other act on behalf of the Licensee for a period of time or until notified in writing by the Licensee. (b) Where the Intermediary is given a notice under Clause 20 (a), the Intermediary must immediately cease providing the Authorised Services or doing any other act on behalf of the Licensee until the period of time specified in the notice elapses or it receives a notice from the Licensee authorising it to recommence the provision of the Authorised Services on behalf of the Licensee.
