Insured Protection Sample Clauses

Insured Protection. The Board agrees to insure teachers against any loss or liability by reason of death, bodily injury and property damage claims and suits, including defense thereof, when damages are sought for negligent or wrongful acts allegedly committed during the scope of employment or under the direction of the Board of Education. The Board will reply to such a request for legal counsel by the second regular Board meeting following receipt of the request. Such insurance shall be carried in a company licensed to write such coverage in this state. The Board of Education will not honor any claim denied by the insurance carrier.
