Instructional Program. OSES curriculum is guided by Orange County Public School and the FDOE curriculum/guidelines. In order to provide an excellent elementary school education, as outlined in our mission statement, OSES enhances the basic Orange County Public Schools curriculum whenever possible. Cheating and Plagiarism Cheating and plagiarism are deceptive choices made by students to misrepresent the student’s true knowledge of the subject material (cheating) or misrepresenting information as their own ideas/concepts/words by not giving proper credit to the original source (plagiarism). All papers or projects submitted at OSES are required to be in the student’s own words unless stated in writing by the teacher otherwise. Therefore, any copying of information from the Internet or any other source (i.e. “cutting & pasting ”, etc.) is considered plagiarism. However, drawings and/or pictures may be taken from an Internet or other source as long as they are properly cited in the document. Cheating and plagiarism demonstrate a deliberate disregard for the educational program and are considered a serious matter. Student’s who cheat or plagiarize will immediately be given a zero on the assignment/project and referred to the administration using an Office Referral Form.
Instructional Program. Google classroom will be the approved platform for teachers and required for all teachers. Zoom or Google Meet are the approved platforms for synchronous instruction. District scope and sequence for essential standards should be adhered to utilizing district adopted materials.
Instructional Program. 31 The Superintendent or his/her designee shall post the existence of regular District-wide instructional program 32 committees in each building each school year. Criteria for membership, contractual rate of pay, if offered, if 33 any, and the available openings on the committees, if any, shall be listed at the time of posting. Employees 34 shall have five (5) working days after the date of posting to indicate to the appropriate administrator their 35 desire to serve on said committee(s). Employees are not required to participate in district-wide committees 36 outside the seven and one-half hour (7.5) work day. Such participation is strictly voluntary. Administration 37 shall not coerce or intimidate employees to participate on committees, particularly employees new to the 38 District, and/or profession. Committee work outside of the seven and one-half hour (7.5) work day shall be 39 compensated at the stated professional rate of pay.
Instructional Program. The Elk Grove Unified School District has established detailed and grade specific standards for all students in grades K-6. These standards or benchmarks are the critical elements in the instructional program. The program descriptions and curriculum materials described below serve as resources to the teacher in helping his/her students meet or exceed the established standards. Parents will receive a comprehensive list of the K-6 standards for their child at Back To School Night.

District shall arrange for and provide Study Abroad Programs within the scope of this Agreement, including but not limited to appropriate course announcements, course descriptions and regist ration prerequisites, student selection and registration, pre- Program student orientation, le ctures, student supervision, Program instruction, Program instructors, Program presenters, Program guides, and post-Program evaluation.

Instructional Program. It is the intent of the District and Association to return to a traditional instructional program (Phase 3) as soon as is feasible consistent with applicable state and local directives issued in response to this pandemic. It is anticipated that the return to a traditional instructional program will occur in phases and may include distance learning (Phase 1) and modified in-person instruction (Phase 2). Exhibit A provides an overview of all OUSD Slice Elementary and Secondary models. The 2020-2021 school year will commence with a Distance Learning model (assuming the County of Orange is still on the Governor’s “Watch List”).
