Institutional Commitments. A. The Responsibilities of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program are to: 1. Publicize the availability of the Dual Admission Program by distributing program literature; 2. Provide students with information about the Dual Admission requirements upon acceptance to the community college nursing program; Seek permission from students admitted into the community college nursing program to share dual admission application data with SCSU; 3. Counsel and/or advise CT-CCNP students interested in attending the B.S. in Nursing degree at Southern Connecticut State University. Identify prospective students interested in enrolling in the Dual Admission Program and share the information with Southern Connecticut State University; 4. Designate personnel to work with staff at Southern Connecticut State University to implement an effective communication plan to Dual Admission students; and 5. Work with Southern Connecticut State University faculty to coordinate information sessions for prospective Dual Admissions Students. B. The Responsibilities of Southern Connecticut State University are to: 1. Designate the Admissions Officer or Transfer and Articulation Officer that will serve as the point of contact for students interested in, and admitted to, the Dual Admission Program; 2. Develop a fee-waived application for the Dual Admission Program; 3. Designate the faculty advisor and other personnel to be the points of contact for the Dual Admission Program; 4. Provide at least (or at a minimum) one group advising session once per semester at each CT-CCNP that has identified dual admission students. 5. Provide the opportunity for students registered for twelve or more credits at the Community Colleges to take one free three credit course at Southern Connecticut State University. 6. Share enrollment and graduation information of enrolled Southern Connecticut State University RN-BSN students that are CT-CCNP graduates on a semester basis with the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program. C. The Joint Responsibilities of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program and Southern Connecticut State University are to: 1. Conduct forums/workshops for counselors, admissions representatives, department chairs and other identified staff from both institutions to discuss expectations, review program requirements, develop promotional materials, and discuss curriculum and course equivalencies; and 2. Make available system to system informational/marketing materials for the Dual Admission Program.

4. Designate personnel to work with staff at Southern Connecticut State the University of Saint ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (USJ) to implement an effective communication plan to Dual Guaranteed Admission students; and
5. Work with Southern Connecticut State University U ni v er s i t y o f S a i nt J osep h faculty to coordinate information sessions for prospective Dual Guaranteed Admissions Students.
B. The Responsibilities of Southern Connecticut State University of Saint ▇▇▇▇▇▇ are to:

5. Work with CT-CCNP that has identified dual admission personnel to coordinate information sessions for prospective Guaranteed Admission students.

C. The Joint Responsibilities of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program and Southern Connecticut State the University of Saint ▇▇▇▇▇▇ are to:

The Connecticut Community College Nursing Program and University of Saint ▇▇▇▇▇▇ agree that in the performance of this Guaranteed Admission Program they will not discriminate nor permit discrimination against any person or groups of persons on the basis of race, color, marital status, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, criminal record, sex, ancestry or age in any manner prohibited by federal or state law and regulations, and further, that they will make their programs available to qualified disabled persons consistent with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the regulations issued pursuant thereto.
