Common use of Inspection of Register Clause in Contracts

Inspection of Register. A Limited Partner, or an agent of a Limited Partner duly authorized in writing, has the right to inspect and make extracts from the Register of Limited Partners or Record during normal business hours, and upon payment of a reasonable fee to the General Partner or Registrar and Transfer Agent, to obtain a copy of the Register of Limited Partners or the Record within a period of 10 days from the date of the filing of his written request therefor with the General Partner at its principal office in Toronto, Ontario or with the Registrar and Transfer Agent at its principal office, together with a statutory declaration stating the name and address of the applicant, that the applicant is a Limited Partner and that the list will not be used by any Person except in connection with an effort to influence the voting of the Limited Partners, or any other matter relating to the affairs of the Partnership.
