Common use of Insignia Clause in Contracts

Insignia. Company shall, at its own cost and expense, or pursuant to the Lease, cause the Airframe and each Engine included in the Aircraft Collateral to be legibly marked (in a reasonably prominent location, which in the case of the Airframe shall be adjacent to the airworthiness certificate) with such a plate, disk, or other marking of customary size, and bearing the legend "Owned by Atlas Freighter Leasing, Inc. and Mortgaged to Bankers Trust Company, as Agent" or such other legend, as shall in the opinion of Agent be appropriate or desirable to evidence the fact that it is subject to the lien and security interest created by this Mortgage. Company shall not remove or deface, or permit to be removed or defaced, any such plate, disk, or other marking or the identifying manufacturer's serial number, and, in the event of such removal or defacement, shall promptly cause such plate, disk, or other marking or serial number to be promptly replaced. Except as provided above, Company shall not allow the name of any person, association or corporation to be placed on the Airframe or any Engine as a designation that might be interpreted as a claim of ownership or of any security interest therein, except that any permitted lessee may place its customary colors and insignia or the insignia of the manufacturer on the Airframe or any Engine.
