INITIAL STEPS Sample Clauses

INITIAL STEPS. At the beginning of the project, the pond group must: (1) review the Pond Inspection Checklist identifying sources of stormwater pollution in the neighborhood, (2) participate in the Pond Group Orientation Training, and (3) mark all storm drains in the pond drainage area with the program’s storm drain markers. Planting A planting of native vegetation will be conducted following completion of all initial steps listed above. Adopt-A-Pond will provide pond groups with a sufficient quantity of native plants at the initial planting stage of the project. The quantity of plants, determined by the County, will depend on pond shape, size, need, condition, number of participants who will be planting, and the species of plant being planted. In any event, every pond will receive enough plants to provide effective vegetative cover in their restoration. Adopt-A-Pond also offers an additional quantity of plants, at the 6-month review date. A group may elect not to receive these plants. Eligibility, quantity, and species will be determined by the County. Beyond the 6-month review date, pond groups may be eligible for additional quantities of plants. In order to qualify, they must submit at least one workday report twice a year and remain in good standing with the Adopt-A-Pond program. Good standing shall be defined as having met all program eligibility criteria, as defined herein, and fulfilled all responsibilities of the Adopt-A-Pond Agreement for at least 6 continuous months prior to any date on which a determination is being made.

INITIAL STEPS. FOR TARGET IDENTIFICATION/VALIDATION (SEE FLOWCHART IN APPENDIX K) It is important to recognize that once a protein target has been identified that binds to a confirmed peptide hit, by virtue of the functional screen that produced the peptide hit the functional relationship of the target protein to the pathway of interest is defined for that particular cell type. False positives only arise if the peptide hit binds to additional proteins not related to the functional pathway altered by the peptide hit. Below is a protocol to discriminate false positives from pathway specific peptide/protein target pairs. [ * ] Some or all of the above methods can be employed to confirm that a peptide/protein pair, identified in the initial screen functions. It will be the task of the joint scientific board from Rigel and Xxxxxxx to determine which assays are necessary to sufficiently define a functional peptide/protein pair for the next phase of development, specifically small molecular weight compound screening.
INITIAL STEPS. Upon the execution of this Agreement by all parties, and subject to the performance of the parties as set forth herein, the Reporting Company and Xxxxxx Mill will take all required actions to cause the following to occur simultaneously:

Below is a protocol to discriminate false positives from pathway specific peptide/protein target pairs. Once the desired change in the phenotype of the library-infected cells is achieved, the peptides responsible will be sequenced. Individual peptide sequences derived from the libraries will be tested for their ability to inhibit tumor cell progression through various phases of the cell cycle in the original screening assay under Section 1.0. Individual peptides, with inhibitory effects will be subjected to two-hybrid screening using cDNA libraries. derived from human tumor cell lines. cDNAs that are isolated from the two-hybrid screen and retested for binding to the peptide will be defined as initial targets. In parallel with the two-hybrid screening, peptide hits will be subjected to secondary screens to test their specificity in several tumor cell lines (see Appendix K). Orthogonal assays will include evaluating peptide effects on the cell cycle and proliferative characteristics of normal and primary cells.
INITIAL STEPS. Execution of the Restructuring Documents
INITIAL STEPS. 1.a Discussing the need and purpose of the guideline In several meetings with the Dutch professional association for anthroposophic art therapists (NVKT: xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx), the educational program for AATs at the University of Applied Sciences Leiden, The Netherlands and the European Academy of AAT (in 2012 and 2014) the need for a guideline was discussed. A guideline was broadly seen as necessary for the improvement of case report quality. Hence, a research group (further referred to as the CARE-AAT Group; CAse REport Anthroposophic Art Therapy) was formed to execute this specific task. The group consisted of three art therapists/researchers (two visual art therapists and one musical art therapist) and two experts in case-study methodology. During a kick-off meeting, the purpose of the guideline was discussed with the members of this research group.

INITIAL STEPS. In July, 1978, ARC acquired the improved property consisting of the Broadway Bowl building and the Hertz Rent-a-Car lot from S. XXXXXX XXXXXX in a transaction for a total purchase price of One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) plus commissions, transfer taxes, and other out-of-pocket costs. The adjoining properties in the block, consisting of a parcel of approximately 25 X 100 feet owned by LOVI and another parcel of approximately 75 X 75 feet owned by XXXX, have not been acquired by the Partnership. The Partnership may attempt to acquire one or both of these parcels. The Hertz Rent-a-Car facility is subject to a lease that does not expire until 1986, and the Partnership will endeavor to terminate or otherwise modify that lease at an earlier date if it is possible to arrive at an agreement with Hertz.

INITIAL STEPS. The author fills out an Assessment Form and sends the form with the manuscript/s and an assessment fee of €100 to the office (assessment fee applies per manuscript). The publisher then evaluates the manuscript/s presented and a decision is done of whether these can be published through APMI Publications. If a publication is possible, a Book Publishing agreement is prepared and sent to the author, who signs and returns the document to the office, where it will be signed by the publisher also.
