Initial Eligibility. To qualify for the first longevity payment, an employee must have completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service. To qualify for initial eligibility, the employee must have been on active full-time employment for at least thirty-nine (39) calendar weeks (273 calendar days) for six (6) consecutive years. Periods of active full-time employment of less than thirty-nine (39) calendar weeks will be counted towards the employee's years of continuous service.
Initial Eligibility. Initial eligibility for a District-paid benefit stipend for medical and dental insurance is established at the end of two (2) consecutive academic years, including work done as a temporary contract or emergency hire, during which the member worked 15 or more teaching units in the academic year; summer sessions preceding the academic year, fall, winter and spring of the academic year.
