Industrial establishments. This group is defined as producers of waste collection and processing facilities. Implementation of ISWM will be an additional cost to this group in terms of setting up and running these facilities. The extended producer responsibility principle and polluter pays approach come into play making producers responsible for their products along the product life cycle. This group has to be compelled by law and economic incentives to be responsible for their waste from cradle to grave otherwise they can mar the success of implementing ISWM.
