Induction Process. A. All interviewed applicants from within the College shall be notified by the Office of Human Resources or the immediate supervisor concerning the decision relating to his/her application prior to the publication of the name of the successful applicant.
B. Any individual appointed to a vacant bargaining unit position shall make application for membership in the Union within thirty (30) calendar days (Article 6).

Induction Process. The Board of Education and the Association agree that the Induction process is implemented for the sole purpose of facilitating the smooth entry of the Inductees into the professional mainstream and is designed to actively provide supportive activities, district orientation and suggestions to the inductee. The induction plan shall be jointly planned and evaluated by the administration and the association. The Induction process for newly hired teachers will begin September, 1986 and may last for up to one year. There will be one mentor per inductee and one inductee per mentor. Mentors shall receive $400.00 as a participating inductee team member. The compensation is the same for mentoring any part-time inductees.

Induction Process the ANAO recognises the importance of a formal induction process that benefits the new starter to the ANAO by providing an understanding of the corporate goals, objectives and values of the organisation. The process, particularly for new APS entrants, also provides detailed information on legal and administrative obligations and responsibilities in the employer/employee relationship within the ANAO and APS generally.

The Prisoner’s own views shall form a vital part of this process.
