Common use of Indefinite Clause in Contracts

Indefinite. Recall of employees shall be inverse order of layoff, i.e., those laid off last will be recalled first; provided, however, that an employee, in order to be reassigned, shall be qualified as determined in Section 1 to fill the position to which assigned. No new personnel shall be employed by the Board to fill bargaining unit positions while there are employees who are laid off, unless there are no laid off employees available with qualifications as determined by Section 1 to fill the position(s).
