Common use of Increasing Participation Clause in Contracts

Increasing Participation. The success in involving all members of the community will only come when based on clear and explicit shared values for their participation. The active involvement of all members of the community works best when it is properly resourced, valued, and the community have equal opportunity to get involved. Policies and standards for the participation of the whole community are currently irregular and underdeveloped. Too often this relies on people either attending meetings or filling in questionnaires. We need to ensure that there are agreed quality standards and codes of conduct for working with the community to ensure their participation is safe, sound, effective and evaluated as well as exploring creative ways of working.
