Common use of Incorporation of Prompt Payment Language in Subcontracts Clause in Contracts

Incorporation of Prompt Payment Language in Subcontracts. Contractor must state the requirements of these Prompt Payment provisions in all Subcontracts and purchase orders. If Contractor fails to incorporate these provisions in all Subcontracts and purchase orders, the provisions of this Section are deemed to be incorporated in all Subcontracts and purchase orders. Contractor and the Subcontractors have a continuing obligation to make prompt payment to their respective Subcontractors. Compliance with this obligation is a condition of Contractor’s participation and that of its Subcontractors on this Contract.
