The Inappropriate Usage clause defines and restricts unacceptable or improper use of a product, service, or resource. It typically outlines specific behaviors or activities that are prohibited, such as illegal actions, misuse, or actions that could harm the provider or other users. For example, it may forbid using a software platform to distribute malware or to harass others. Inappropriate Usage. ITC or other relevant authorities may determine inappropriate usage of this account and the privilege may be revoked at ITC’s discretion.

It is inappropriate for a User to use, submit, publish, display, or transmit via E-media any information which: • Violates or infringes on the rights of another person, including the right to privacy; • Contains defamatory, false, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, pornographic, sexually oriented, threatening, racially offensive, or otherwise biased, discriminatory, or illegal material; • Violates the Workforce Partnership policy against sexual harassment; • Restricts or inhibits other users from using E-media; • Encourages the use of controlled substances or uses the system for the purpose of criminal intent; or • Uses E-media for any other illegal purpose.
