In Other Programs. School aide positions in Board summer programs will be posted. School aides assigned to high schools shall have a priority for school aide positions in Board summer programs in the borough of their assignment. School aides who apply in writing will be interviewed and the senior qualified applicant will be selected. In the event that school aide positions in Board summer programs remain unfilled, the vacant positions will be offered to school aides serving in elementary, intermediate, or junior high schools in the district and special education programs in the borough, who have worked for two years in summer programs and who apply in writing. The senior qualified applicants will be selected. The Union will be notified in writing when exceptions based on qualifications are made.
