Common use of Import and Export of Data Clause in Contracts

Import and Export of Data. To the extent Customer Data is stored, retained, or otherwise maintained in electronic format in connection with any hosting, infrastructure, or other similar Services, the applicable Governmental Entity or its Authorized Contractors shall have the ability to import or export data or information, including Customer Data, in whole or in part to or from such services, at no charge, and in such formats as may be acceptable to the Governmental Entity, without interference from Vendor. In the event a Governmental Entity is unable to successfully import or export data and information in whole or in part, Vendor shall assist the Governmental Entity in doing so at no charge. As it relates to the export of such data and information, Vendor shall provide to or ensure the applicable Governmental Entity has obtained an export of any requested data or information within one (1) day of any request in the format specified by the Governmental Entity.
